Practice starts week of Jan 8th We are excited to provide your children with the experience of Christ through the Upward sports environment. Practice starts the week of Jan 8th 2012, the first game day of the season is Jan 28th, 2012 All Practices and games will held at The Dream Center Research indicates that children’s moral foundations are generally in place by the time they reach age 9 (Barna, 2003).  We should teach the children the right moral now and sports is a excellent venue. Using the “universal language” of sports, Upward Sports’ coaches and volunteers connect with families during the formative years in a child’s life to develop values, athletic skills and a life-long love of the game. The Upward Volunteers include church members from Body of Christ and the parents of the participants. These volunteers will connect with the upward players and cheerleaders which come from the surrounding communities.
